The Malahat Review is affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Fine Arts and is published quarterly by the University of Victoria.

The University of Victoria provides base funding supplemented by the Office of the Dean of Humanities and the Faculty of Fine Arts.

The Malahat Review is laid out by Rayola Graphic Design of Victoria, B.C., and printed by Morriss Printing of Victoria, B.C. It is mailed to subscribers by Aristos of Victoria, B.C. and distributed to bookstores and newsstands across Canada by Magazines Canada in Toronto, Ontario.

The Malahat Review is a member of the British Columbia Association of Magazine Publishers and Magazines Canada.

The Malahat Review is encouraged and assisted in matters of administration and promotion by an Advisory Board selected from members of the local writing and academic communities. Its current members are Linda Rogers, Don Bailey, David Leach, Andrew Rippin, Karen Whyte and John Tucker.

The Malahat Review’s original website was designed and created by Jamie Williams. Jason Dewinetz of Greenboathouse Books & Design acted as design consultant. Content development and architecture was by Laurel Bernard.

It got its new face in Fall 2007, redesigned by Fraser MacGillivray with input from the editorial team. Since then, the site has been maintained and updated by Steve Carey.
